So I had writer’s block when trying to make the latest meal plan. π I definitely got out of the habit this past month. I went searching for ideas and came across this amazing website. I used the Tastes Better From Scratch website to make my entire meal plan this week. She has a wide array of meals, has a customized meal plan option, recipes and prep tips. I am loving this site.
But on to my meal plan. For breakfast we usually make eggs, fruit and yogurt blender drinks, or cereal. OnΒ a weekend day once a month, we make waffles just to change it up and have a fun family morning. For lunch we usually have dinner left overs. This is why my meal plans only consist of dinners. While I put dinner on specific days, I do have leeway during the week for what we happen to be in the mood for or if time is short and just need a quick meal. I used similar recipes to keep the budget down and for meal prep.
Sunday – Chili lime Wraps
Monday – Chicken Cashew Crunch Wraps
Tuesday – Greek Yogurt Chicken Salad Wraps
Wednesday – Pepperoni Pizza I have a cauliflower crust I will try with this one.
Thursday – Avocado Chicken Salad Wraps
Friday – Salmon and Vegetables
Saturday – Chipotle Chicken Fajita Soup
This week went went with a fresh and healthy meal plan. A lot of vegetables and chicken and very little of the filler ingredients like bread, pasta, and rice. The pizza was for the kid because we all know how kids can be. π Each day has a link for the recipe from Tastes Better From Scratch website.
